In total we have 3,985,290 > on Wikidata at the moment, and growing. From my experience, it would appear generally speaking article with more than 1 or 2 interwiki links will typically already exist on Wikidata, but not necessarily otherwise. If there's a Wikidata item that linked to the corresponding article you are on, "Edit links" will appear on the side bar under Languages.
