I think we should not be doing this unless we have first checked which
images linked inline are currently existing in the various wikipedias,
and where possible resolve them. I know that on nl: at least until recently
there were some inline links to en: or meta:, created when we were at phase
1, and could not upload our own. There's also some early image references
that use inline linking to our own images (by people who apparently did not
know the correct syntax). I'm almost certain that similar cases hold on
other wikipedias. Thus, if at all possible, I would like to find all current
inline images, and get time to repair or remove them, before this is
implemented.
