Not sure whether I saw it on another list but someone predicted that
Wikipedia will soon be a household name.
So surely these types of domain registrations will be on the increase.
So how do we know the sincererity of the registrar.
He/She could be meaning to be a portal to it.wikipedia.org or have plans
for something naughty.

My language Tamil, about 70 million people has no country, no flag ...
like many many more.
But there is an ISO code for the lang.
What is wrong with the current arrangement with virtual hosts?

As Italian can be easily seen to be centered around Italy this makes
some sense.  I worry about the precedence this type of domain based
pattern sets though.
