The codes are just a an arbitrary two (or three) letter combination, and as long as the language doesn't change, the code should remain the same. Now, the language can be referred as Tamazight with "ber" as the code, that is not a problem. > see their language as a dialect of Berber/Tamazight). I know several people who would be interested in participating mysel= f. It could be needed to create two domains, as tamazight can be written in latin alphabet (the most common in Algeria and overseas) or in native tifinagh alphabet. Well, tifinagh isn't yet encoded in Unicode, but hopefully it will be there for unicode 4.1 or 4.2; in any case it will be available in the future, so it should be thought about. Another solution could be to use the same domain, and have two pages for each article, on in latin the other in tifinagh (with a small converter program it should be quite easy to generate them), in a way similar of how chinese wikipedia does. >=20 > Yours, > Mostafa > =D9=85=D8=B5=D8=B7=D9=81=D9=89 > _______________________________________________ > Intlwiki-l mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.wikipedia.org/mailman/listinfo/intlwiki-l --=20 Ki =C3=A7a vos v=C3=A5ye b=C3=A9n, Pablo Saratxaga http://chanae.walon.org/pablo/ PGP Key available, key ID: 0xD9B85466 [you can write me in Walloon, Spanish, French, English, Catalan or Esperant= o] [min povas skribi en valona, esperanta, angla aux latinidaj lingvoj] --u3/rZRmxL6MmkK24 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAYo+kpSX1mtm4VGYRAoNCAJ9ftEIJ6M2pBnUMgAQQtL6jsKH7jgCdHKHf 4ePneX52eQ1D0W0xnleM10s= =ZVzc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --u3/rZRmxL6MmkK24-- --===============022201233992892977== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Intlwiki-l mailing list [email protected] http://mail.wikipedia.org/mailman/listinfo/intlwiki-l --===============022201233992892977==--
