Hi!

Recently, the Product Safety and Integrity team shipped an update to the
AccountSecurity special page (that's why it looks differently than
earlier and it's now on auth.wikimedia.org). The authenticator apps
section should work properly, and if it doesn't, I encourage you to file
a Phabricator ticket for that. (I'm also working in that team, but I
wasn't involved in that projects, so I don't hve any behind-the-scenes
knowledge).

For using bots with admin accounts, I recommend setting a bot password
(using Special:BotPasswords), which is not subject to 2FA and can have a
scope reduced (in comparison with interactive access).
