Thanks for pointing this out. The concern is captured in the tracking task
and we'll update this thread with information on migrating the images to
the Debian CDN.

As for your second comment, I understand where you're coming from. A alsot
the same time I would like to point to the "be of more use to the Wikimedia
movement by spending these resources elsewhere" part - it's not that "y'all
don't matter", it's about focusing on services that cannot be easily
replaced by available, and in this case better, alternatives.
