PhD position in Algorithms, TDA and Generative models for drug design at Edinburgh

We are looking for a PhD student to start in September 2026.

The topic is to reduce off-target effects for drug design with generative models. The idea will be to guide the generation process using the shapes of proteins and drugs.

The project will be good for students interested in
• Learning theory, statistics, algorithms
• Topological data analysis
• Generative models and ML
