Assistant Professor in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science in the College of Science and
Mathematics at California State University, Fresno seeks applicants for a
tenure-track, academic-year position at the rank of Assistant Professor
starting in Academic Year 2026-2027, with preference given to candidates
specializing in Cloud/Cluster/Distributed Computing, Algorithms and Theory
of Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science Education, and
Artificial Intelligence. Competitive candidates in the areas not listed in
the job post may be considered, depending on the department’s needs and
priorities. Successful applicants will be expected to teach a variety of
core Computer Science courses, as well as electives and graduate courses in
their area(s) of expertise, be active in scholarly and applied research
involving students, and engage in university and community service.
