The University of Salzburg (Department of Computer Science) is currently 
seeking a Predoctoral University Assistant ("PhD student") in the Big 
Data Algorithms Group headed by Sebastian Forster. The goal is to 
develop algorithms for solving clustering, distance, flow, or cut 
problems that are as well-suited as possible to dynamic, parallel, or 
distributed computing models.

* Requirements: Master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a 
related field
* Start date: Fall 2026
* Duration: Four years
* Salary: 41.601 EUR gross/year for 30 hours/week
* Application deadline: May 6, 2026
