We are excited to announce the fourth Gender Inclusion Workshop at the
Conference on Economics and Computation (EC) this year! It will take
place in Rome, Italy, on July 6, the first day of the conference. More
information is available on our website
(https://sites.google.com/view/ecgiw/home), including an interest form
if you want to be kept up to date.

We have two upcoming deadlines:

- Spotlight Talk Application (Deadline: May 30, 2026): Graduate
students and postdocs interested in giving a talk on their research
are invited to apply. Talk lengths are TBD depending on workshop
schedules, but we expect they will be 12-20 minutes.

- Poster Session Application (Deadline: May 30, 2026): Graduate
students and postdocs interested in presenting a poster during the
workshop are invited to apply.

The guiding purpose of this workshop is to create a space for the
support and promotion of members of the EC community who belong to
underrepresented genders: women, transgender people of any gender,
non-binary and gender non-conforming people, and all people with
historically marginalized or underrepresented genders in EconCS. This
workshop is also open to allies of any gender.

In service of its purpose, this workshop has three main goals:
1. To highlight research from members of underrepresented gender identities,
2. To provide participants with networking opportunities, and
3. To facilitate open discussion about the diverse and intersectional
experiences of marginalized gender groups in EconCS, and actions that
can be taken to make our communities more inclusive to people of all
gender identities.

We hope to see you there. For any questions, please feel free to contact us.
