Dear colleague,

we would like to bring to your attention the workshop "Polyhedra in Lean",
taking place August 24 - September 4, 2026 at Freie Universität Berlin.

This two-week hands-on workshop will bring together experts on Lean and
formalization, experts on the various aspects of polyhedral geometry and
combinatorics, and researchers interested in or curious about these topics.
Participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with the Lean
community, to learn about the process of formalization and contribution to
mathlib, all within the scope of an active research topic. A major goal
will be to plan the formalization of the various aspects of polyhedral
theory in the Lean language and accelerate the integration into mathlib,
also aiming for a long term collaboration.

You may find further details on the webpage:
https://mathconf.eu/pil-fub-2026/

Please register by July 16, 2026; the capacities are limited.
Limited travel funds are available for young researchers. Please send us a
short motivation letter (max 1 page) and the name and email address of one
reference we may contact. The deadline is July 1, 2026.

Best regards,
Georg Loho (FU Berlin)
Olivia Röhrig (Zuse Institute Berlin)
Martin Winter (MPI-MiS Leipzig)
