Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Computer Science — LIP6 (CNRS & 
Sorbonne University), Paris, France


LIP6 (CNRS and Sorbonne University), Paris, France, is seeking 
candidates for a postdoctoral position in Theoretical Computer Science. 
Full funding will be provided by the ANR project PREDICTIONS, which is 
focused on the subject of learning-augmented algorithms.

The position is for one year, with a negotiable starting date (ideally 
September 2026). Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science 
or a related field before the starting date of the position. Knowledge 
of French is not required, and applications may be submitted in either 
French or English.

Candidate profile:

- PhD Degree in Computer Science.
- Specialization in Theoretical Computer Science in areas such as 
online, approximation, or randomized algorithms. Research experience on 
learning-augmented algorithms will be considered as an advantage but it 
is not a prerequisite.
- Demonstrated capacity to conduct research at the international level.
