The 34th International Symposium on Graph Drawing and Network Visualization (GD 2026)

The 34th edition of the International Symposium on Graph Drawing and Network Visualization (GD 2026) will take place in St. Catharines, Canada, on August 17-21, 2026, starting with a PhD School (August 17-18, 2026) and  conference reception on the evening of August 18, 2026. The main venue of GD 2026 is Thistle Complex, Brock University, which is located nearby major attractions in the Niagara region.

The conference will also feature a poster session, the traditional Graph Drawing Contest, and keynote talks from distinguished invited speakers:

- Erin Chambers, University of Notre Dame, Indiana, United States.
- Tamara Munzner, University of British Columbia, British Columbia, Canada.

REGISTRATION

Registration is open. The early registration phase ends on July 24. Instructions can be found at

Registration fees for the symposium include the welcome reception (on Tuesday, August 18), coffee breaks, lunches, and the banquet dinner (on Thursday, August 20). Furthermore, the LIPIcs publication fees for the GD26 proceedings are covered by the registration fee.

PHD SCHOOL

A pre-conference PhD school (https://graphdrawing.github.io/gd2026/pages/school/) on Graph Drawing will take place on August 17-18, 2026. The PhD school early registration fee covers the participation at the lectures and coffee breaks. Registration for the PhD school is via the same registration link as for the main conference.
