The University of Palermo is offering one PhD position within the National PhD Program in Artificial Intelligence – AI for Society, 42nd cycle.
🔬 Research topic: “Development of Distributed and Human-Centered AI Ecosystems: from Precision Medicine to 6G Networks”
 The project will investigate pervasive, trustworthy, and sustainable AI through two interconnected research directions:
🧬 AI for precision medicine and pharmacological research
📡 Distributed AI for the Cloud–Edge Continuum

📍 Work location: University of Palermo, Italy
⏳ Application deadline: 10 August 2026, 13:00 Italian time
🎓 Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification by 31 October 2026.
