The Steering Committee of the International Conference on Automated
Reasoning with Analytic Tableaux and Related Methods currently has
three elected members whose terms expire in 2010. This email is an
official call for votes on behalf of the steering committee.
The current Steering Committee consists of:
Elected members:
* Marta Cialdea-Mayer (Universita degli studi Roma Tre), elected until 2010
* Chris Fermueller (TU Vienna), elected until 2010
* Martin Giese (University of Oslo), elected until 2012
* Valentin Goranko (Technical University of Denmark), elected until 2012
* Rajeev Gore (Australian National University), elected until 2012
* Nicola Olivetti (Université Paul Cézanne, Marseille) - elected until 2010.
Ex-officio members:
* George Metcalfe (University of Bern) - representative of TABLEAUX 2011
* Reiner Haehnle (Chalmers University of Technology) - representative of IJCAR 2010.
The following people have been nominated as candidates, in
alphabetical order:

Each candidate has written a statement about their views on various
aspects of TABLEAUX, and these can be found at:

Voting is via mail, fax or email using a single transferable voting
system. Eligible voters are those who are deemed to be members of
the Tableaux community as defined below.
The Tableaux community consists of all people who have been
registered participants in at least one of the 3 most recent
Tableaux Conferences including IJCAR (i.e. IJCAR 2008, TABLEAUX 2009
and IJCAR 2010) and all members of the current Program Committee
(i.e Tableaux 2011 PC). Only members of the tableaux community may
vote.
To vote, please send your list of candidates in order of preference,
from highest to lowest, *and* also indicate which of the three most
recent Tableaux Conferences you have attended. You may omit
candidates from your list if you wish. The votes will be received
and counted independently by both Rajeev Gore and Reiner
Haehnle. Please send your vote in one of three ways:
- send an email with the subject "TABLEAUX SC Vote" containing your
vote to [email protected] *and* reiner-Ga8gg/[email protected]
- send a fax with the subject "TABLEAUX SC Vote" containing your
vote to Rajeev Gore at +61-2-6125-8651 *and* Reiner Haehnle at

- send a letter with the subject "TABLEAUX SC Vote" containing your

The deadline for receiving votes is 1700 AEST on Friday 3rd of
December 2010.
