happy new year... of the blog?

We're already into 2005 (and most of the way to the Chinese new year - the
year of the rooster starts on Feb 9). It's been very quiet in here.
Perhaps email lists were last year's thing. Some say that this is the year
of the weblog. Which is a sneaky way of leading up to a plug for my
FLOSS-related blog:
