CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
OSS 2009 Doctoral Consortium
June 3, 2009, Skovde, Sweden
URL: http://www.ua.ac.be/main.aspx?c=kris.ven&n=74628

Co-located with OSS2009
The 5th International Conference on Open Source Systems
June 3-6, 2009, Skovde, Sweden
http://www.oss2009.org/

Dear colleague,

We would like to inform you that collocated with OSS 2009, a Doctoral
Consortium will be organized on June 3.

Hereby, you are kindly invited to attend the Doctoral Consortium. We
greatly welcome the participation of both students and researchers that
will attend the OSS 2009 conference.

It is our aim to provide students with high-quality feedback on their
research proposal. We strongly believe faculty members can provide
valuable feedback that will be beneficial to PhD students. For PhD
students, attending the discussion on research proposals of other PhD
students may be beneficial as well, as it provides ideas on what future
reactions to their own research may be.

A list of papers accepted to the Doctoral Consortium for presentation
is available on our website:
http://www.ua.ac.be/main.aspx?c=kris.ven&n=74628. Given the wide range
of topics, we are confident that some of these topics will be of
interest to you. Although the Doctoral Consortium is a full-day event,
we also encourage you to attend part of the Doctoral Consortium (e.g.,
half a day, or even for specific papers).

Participation in the Doctoral Consortium is covered by the OSS 2009
registration fee. If you have not registered yet, just make sure to
cross the Doctoral Consortium check box on the registration form. If you
have already registered to OSS 2009, but did not indicate that you will
attend the Doctoral Consortium, just send an e-mail to oss2009-hX9c/[email protected]
and indicate that you would like to modify your registration (please be
sure to include your registration number).

If you have any questions with respect to the Doctoral Consortium,
please contact Kris Ven ([email protected]).
