I tried to install PyKDL manually, but the
set(PYTHON_SITE_PACKAGES_INSTALL_DIR) does not give the right path : 

Install the project...
-- Install configuration: "RelWithDebInfo"
-- Up-to-date: /usr/local/lib/python./dist-packages/PyKDL.so


it seems that python${PYTHON_VERSION_MAJOR}.${PYTHON_VERSION_MINOR} does not
work anymore.
I used ccmake to change the installation path to .../python2.6/ and it worked
though.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 (all updates done).
