[Bug 1041] PKG_CONFIG_PATH overridden

Well, the usual I guess, which were the reasons why ROS, OpenCV switched to
GitHub:
- using a popular website helps the user not learn a new interface (like I
missed the duplicate), register
- GitHub would mean less maintenance for you and would add a looooot of
features to what you don't have (e.g. pull request, integration jobs,
integrated bug tracker, smart messages ...)
- plus apparently there are forks on GitHub already ? (like Bohren's)

For users, it's just a matter of changing a url, not much of a burden, and same
for you too actually. Your call obviously :) Thx for your work !
