I'm trying to build utilrb master and typelib master but keep on struggling
with system dependencies. I would like to pull all system dependencies as
debian packages (no gems).

How have you resolved the ruby1.9.3 dependency on Ubuntu 12.04? It seems
that is practically impossible to get all dependencies correctly from
debian packages without having to install ruby1.8 (it seems the rubygems
debian package is to blame).

The FindRuby.cmake file (the one provided in utilrb as well as the one
provided by cmake 2.8.12.1) is not able to detect ruby1.9.3 if ruby1.8 is
installed on the system.
