In my Robotics class, students must make a project in groups of two or three. The contents of the projects range from quite theoretical to software implementations. I was wondering whether we might find some project of this latter category that could be useful for Orocos and in which students at different labs can collaborate. (Or compete...) One thing I could think of is extending the graphical interface that Anthony showed on the Orocos meeting. This is a task which is not too difficult to divide into more or less independent parts, once we agree on a certain vision and structure. Another thing could be the implementation of different trajectory generators and/or control laws. Give me a sign if your interested. Anyway, our projects starts within a week or two, and have to be finished in December. Herman -- "I decry the current tendency to seek patents on algorithms.
