Nice challenge :) In the beginning I wanted to do some animation with
povray (just for fun): something like a video illustrating the building
of the project, with parts moving and coming together to form the final
logo. 
If we could end up with a graphical interface and a set of tools to do
this 'programmatically' that would be a nice demo :)
