I am not convinced that you are talking about the same kind of
components. There are SW components (i.e. components that can be
actived at run time through a "generic" interface, the java
... variety) and their might be system components (basic units in
a system). I thought Genom was for the execution engine in the
system-unit things, but for the SW engr type components. Thus I think
we have to be careful with the terminology to ensure that we are 
communicating and agreeing on the same thing.
