I've had some feedback off-list about the draft paper on the design of the real-time core for signal processing and generation, and updated and extended the document. It can still be found here: <http://www.orocos.org/documents/rtlab-design.pdf> (Update available this afternoon, after server update.) The design is not at all limited to hard real-time, because it designs the _logical structure_ of synchronizing control-like components. Indeed, I always had the Genom ideas in mind when developing this design, because I think it covers also that :-) So, I'm interested in confronting my design with the new Genom approach, or other people's experiences and ideas. Please respond to the list. Herman -- K.U.Leuven, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Research Group <http://people.mech.kuleuven.ac.be/~bruyninc> Tel: +32 16 322480
