Of course there are relations! Robotics will (certainly for me) be a
(the?) major applications area. But the core of the project is to
develop infrastructure that is useful for other application areas too.

But what exactly do you mean with "EURON involvement"? Participation
of _people_ from the robotics community, or formal integration with the
EURON NoE? I am not _asking_ for involvement, but it would be welcome
of course :-)

Anyway, I do not claim "ownership" of this proposal: others are free
to "steal" ideas and go for more focused projects (STREPS), for which
there is lots of room too. Maybe it turns out that "the community" finds
that my suggestions are "too broad", so I won't find support for my
proposal draft; so be it :-)

I know that defining the most appropriate scope of the proposal is not
easy. Anyway don't forget that the proposal has to comply to the goals
of the EU call, and in this case it would be "open development
platforms" (most probably), and not a robotics-oriented call.
