I've just put a PDF file of my master student Tom Cosaert's thesis on
line:
 <http://people.mech.kuleuven.ac.be/~bruyninc/thesis-cosaert.pdf>.
The thesis uses the Object-Port-Connector pattern for the modelling
and visualisation of complex interconnected systems.

We have used this pattern in many places as an ideal design to
decouple interacting (i.e., data/event/connectivity relationships)
software components, whatever the interaction may be.

I'm looking for students or groups that are interested in working on
implementing the desing into a fully fledged dynamical simulation
package :-)
