Last time I saw this, the user was mixing Tcl/Tk libraries versions
between the build and the execution. Make sure this is not the case. 

And I'd like to see a gdb backtrace after the segfault, if possible. 

I work mostly on Solaris and *BSD. The only Linux version we currently
use at LAAS is RedHat 7.3. So I was expecting problems on other
distributions...
