I think there are quite some people out there that have "hacked" industrial robots and their controllers, in order to use them with their own controllers and control algorithms. If you are in this position, please consider making a webpage about how you did it, and about what is the current interface you have to that robot. I would love to add links with such information to the Orocos web pages...
