A grad student worked on that for a while; it's a sort
of an experiment.

Sorry about that; the ISP that we're using must have changed
the mailman settings while I was experimenting with the mailing
lists.  We opened them a while ago, but I wanted to announce
it after some testing to avoid this kind of problems :)
