I propose that we migrate this discussion to another, more focused forum
(there are 84 people on the playerstage-developers list, about 80 of
whom I suspect are not terribly interested in this topic).
We have another list, playerstage-design, which is a kind of "design
working group" for Player where we've been discussing similar issues
for the past couple of months. There are currently 28 subscribers,
among them representatives of Orca and MARIE.
If you're amenable, go here to subscribe:
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/playerstage-design
It's controlled-access (each new subscriber is individually approved)
and member-only posting (so be sure to subscribe with the address from
which you'll be posting). If I don't recognize your email address, I'll
double-check with you before approving your subscription; I'm not being
picky, but rather want to keep users from subscribing to the wrong list.
