Hello,

I'm currently using player on Windows and it works fine. Some tweaks
are needed, but I have recently submitted a patch that should solve
most compilation issues. For the remaining issues, I can write a small
HOWTO, if you need it.

I just use cygwin for the jpeg and gnome canvas libraries. For other
required libraries (gsl, gtk, pthreads) I use the windows
distributions.

Regards,
Jorge

Rashad,

The wiki is a good resource for getting acquainted with the Player/Stage
project, although not all topics are updated as frequently as others. The
Windows page, however, is up to date and helpful for getting started
developing on Windows using Visual Studio.
http://playerstage.sourceforge.net/wiki/Windows. It helped
me, admit-ably not familiar with developing in VS to get started. From
there, searching through the playerstage-users list on Nabble provided the
some supplemental information I needed when I ran into some trouble;
however, it seems that the most recent player revision in subversion should
include a number of windows patches.

Other obvious resources include the Getting Started, Getting Help, and
Roadmap pages on the wiki, just to name a few.
