Initial Comment:
Working on new driver (powershot for canon digicams) I've found some issues with camera interface infrastructure. The driver is not ready yet and work will be frozen for next few days, thus I feel it's good to publish improvements i did so far:
1. client side - misleading error message caused by legally sent zero-sized images
2. camerareq - new driver good for working with new stuff that is going to be installed (currently it can be used with camerav4l2 and cvcam)
3. cameracompress - many changes:
3.1. handle all new requests
3.2. don't use one variable name (data) for too many things as it makes confusions reading ProcessMessage() code, now 'imgdata' is for image data while 'data' is for general data
3.3. other small changes in code
