To have drivers for your robots included in Player, you need to submit patches that add the drivers to the Player source tree to the patch tracker at the project website (playerstage.sf.net). There is information at these pages on creating in-source drivers: http://playerstage.sourceforge.net/wiki/Adding_drivers_to_Player_3 Any contributed drivers must be under a GPL-compatible license. We prefer LGPL, as this allows companies to use the drivers in products.
