The prediction was very good in the female 5000 m. Absolutely everyone had the right winner, and Arild Jensen and Nils Meland had excellent winning time predictions, too, and win the distance with 6 points. Four people had good time predictions, Joe Gier, Sybe van Hijum, me and Dick Pluim, and they share the bronze. Most of the rest had 4, including all of the top 6 overall, so the position between them is unchanged. But Joe is catching up some and Nils is catching up even more. Only 4 points behind the leader now.
Now we shall see how the female samalog points will turn out, and how the final standings of the whole prediction championship will be decided. Predicting the correct podium seems to have been pretty easy here, as more than half of the participants (that is, 15) made it.
