i get it, yes there were a few more pairs of 10k when there were the north american and asian qualifiers. also im not sure if they cut the 10k from the european championship already, but its a shame for sure.

i would like to have combinations in the world cup, but as long as there is none, i think the current qualification format is good :)

yes, they should actually add more quota places. they dont add enough with the current setup.

correct, but the champion is the champion :) also i dont think the outcome would have been different had the 1k been replaced by the 3k
