Two skaters have withdrawn from the teams I described earlier.
A few days ago, Håvard Bøkko announced he is taking a "break" from the national team after 12 seasons. He is not leaving entirely, but for now he is not able to compete at the level he is used to from the old days.

Yesterday, Hanne Haugland from the NSA team annouced her retirement from speedskating. She has suffered from heart problems since January, and so she is sadly not fit to train as hard as she should to keep skating.
