Seems so, the most inner lane is wider than usual, to get an advantage for the mass start. I expect all sizes are well within the ISU limits.

Not convincing because we then have to come up with another explanation for the faster times. The altitude is not higher. The meteorogical air pressure isn’t lower, the air temperature isn’t higher, the skaters aren’t better. Have they put something special in the ice?
