Update...

CAN
Alexandre St-Jean - not participating in the Canadian championships. But a=
lso no message about retiring. So I guess he will "be back", eventually.

CHN

I am not able to find any results so far this season from China, I guess th=
ere have been competitions, but no results. And also no news about the two =
stars from before: Yu Jing and Zhang Hong. We'll have to wait and see.=20

JPN

Arisa Go and Erina Kamiya wil not be skating this season.=20

KOR

No Lee Seung-hoon and no Lee Sang-hwa competing in the Korean championships=
, so I guess those two will not be seen at the long track circuit this wint=
er. But if a great skater like Lee Sang-hwa actually has retired, I find it=
very strange that this hasn't been announced?!

NZL

Peter Michael is competing at marathon, but I guess it is possible that he =
will turn up for the world cup as well.=20

RUS

Semerikov and Rumjantsev turned up for the Russian championships, but not J=
urakova.=20

USA

The participants list for the World Cup qualifiers is out, without Shani...=
! So I guess this is farewell, as one would expect for an 36 years old.

Regards, B. Haarberg.=20
