Dear friends of speedskating

I would like to ask the members of this list to help me.

I'm a member of the collectors club the Poolster
<https://www.verzamelkringdepoolster.nl/> . This club has opened a website
about skatehistory. <https://www.schaatshistorie.nl/>

Backgrounds of skate makers, history of skating and skates and a lot more.
(also some translated in English)

I'm recently started to make an inventory of: Speedskating related art in
public space (so not in museums). I have made an google My places
<https://tinyurl.com/schaatsbeelden> . But I also describes the artworks on
Schaatshistorie.nl <https://www.schaatshistorie.nl/inbeeld/standbeelden/>

Besides describing it, I like to show it also with an png, .jpg or .gif
max. 10 MB.

The missing pictures in the Netherlands are a matter of time. I like to
photograph the artwork, but didn't had the time to photograph them all yet.

But outside the Netherlands I like to ask you the following:

1. Do you have pictures of any of the artwork you can see in My places
<https://tinyurl.com/schaatsbeelden> . If so, and you own the copywright,
are you willing to let me publish it on the schaatshistorie site and my
places? Of course with your name mentioned.

2. Do you have background information about the artwork (you can think
of sculptor, date it is placed, who ordered the artwork and why. Or other
curious things around it.

3. Do you know the precise spot it is placed? In My places
<https://tinyurl.com/schaatsbeelden> the black colored are precise on the
spot and with picture. The blue ones are missing a picture, The yellow/ red
colored are not placed in right spot and missing picture. If yellow most of
the time close to the spot.

4. Do you know of any artwork not mentioned? Then all the three above
count as well.

I hope you like to help

Thanks in advance

Yours Sincerely

Caroline (van Staaveren)
