Minutes of ERPS General Meeting #279
18 March 2004

The President called the meeting to order at 8:26 PM. Members present were 
Kevin Bollinger, Rick Eversole, Dave Masten, Pierce Nichols, Gerald 
Nordley, Julie Porter, Adrian Tymes, Dave Weinshenker, and Chris Winter.

	Rick and Kevin delivered CDs with their contributions for the 2004 CD-ROM.

	Nothing to report

LIAISONS

	Rick reported that the CD-ROMs for John Carmack had gone out on Tuesday 
via 2nd-day air.

	This year's Contact: Cultures of the Imagination was attended by about 180 
cultured people, Gerry informed us, and was therefore a good weekend. It 
also did well financially.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS

TREASURER

Rick Eversole

	We still have money.

	Rick is still working on setting up an auction for the robot arm, to get 
us some more.

CHIEF SCIENTIST

Kevin Bollinger

	Kevin reported progress on his filament-winder assembly: he has found 
acceptable software drivers for his stepper motors. Also, he informed the 
group of a recent patent on hypergolic propulsion work (not his), and he 
will be attending Space Access '04.

FLIGHT CONTROLS

PROPELLANTS/SPARGER/FF

Pierce Nichols

	Machining of parts for Freezewheel Mark 1 continues.

	Pierce is finishing up the new heat exchanger coil assembly. He plans a 
Ranch trip Sunday to fit everything together.

SAFETY

Dave Masten

	Safety is AOK.

TESTING
-------
Dave Masten

	Pierce advised that Chuck presented his copies of the use permit and 
relevant documents, and the cease-and-desist order has been lifted. Chuck 
is now working on getting the facility's Material Safety Data Sheets in 
order; he may need our help with this.

	There is nothing new to report about insurance; the issue is being worked.

	Dave M's card has now been hit for the PC-104 development kit. That item 
should be arriving Real Soon Now.

Dave Weinshenker

	Launches are being held by the Livermore club at Snow Ranch east of 
Stockton. No launches are currently scheduled at Fresno.

Meeting #279 adjourned at 9:03 PM. The next meeting will take place on 1
