consensus

Consensus? An interesting tid-bit of knowledge is that the last country 
on Earth (That I know of) that was operated under a form of consensus 
since mediaeval times was the tiny Coprincipality of Andorra, high in the 
mountains between France and Spain. A few years back they dropped 
the whole thing and switched over to a constitutional government. I 
think this was done because of becoming part of United Europe, not 
because the consensual government didn’t work. I visited this quaint 
little country (under 500 square kilometers and pop. around 70,000) and 
was impressed by how nice a place it is.
