Site mostly works now, but they have some broken flash that blocks the 
upper part of the page.
Hope their windmill tech is more together than their web tech... :-/

One apparent benefit of this, if PR is true, is power generation at much 
lower wind speeds than other commercially available units.

Looking at their alleged 3-year payback (ROI), and the prices for unit 
and installed unit mentioned in previous posts, the only way you'd get a 
quick ROI like that is if you were already a major energy hog with a 
massively above average bill.
They say "...if monthly bill is $300..."  Even in Hawai'i, among the 
most expensive grid KWH in the country, monthly domestic (household) 
bill averages are only in the $120 - $180 range.  So the ROI is mostly 
hype, in dollars anyhow.

This story has been told several times in the past few decades 
(including pre-nanotech technologies).  So far nothing has actually been 
produced.
I've heard some recent buzz involving nanotech.  There is an article in 
the most recent Solar Today magazine about nanotech and solar power, 
which I haven't done more than barely skim yet - anyone else read it 
already?

In any case nanotech is about the most scary stupid human trick 
happening right now, at least equal to and perhaps a wee bit above 
genetic engineering. Be careful what you ask for...
