[FAILED] post via Gmane, from a non-member address

My previous post to gmane.test.yahoo worked fine, but in that case, the
sender address was also a member of the Yahoo group.

When I tried to post to gmane.test.yahoo from a non-member address, Yahoo
bounced it.  I've attached the bounce message below.

Okay, that worked too.  Great!  But weird.  Why did my posts to
extremeprogramming via GMane end up with a bad "From" header?

Hmmm, maybe that last post worked because <[email protected]> is a member
of the gmane-test list?  I'll try another post from a different address.
