Gotcha. I'm caught up now.

I do remember some discussions long ago about whether or not to copy the values
from the source-node or just the children, so I'm sure there was a reason. I'm
just not sure it was a good reason. I also remember this seeming like strange
behavior using the hdf copy syntax, I think we should strongly consider
changing it unless we can recall some of those mystical reasons. We're still
sub-1.0, right Brandon. (laugh)
