I am using clearsilver as the templating engine for ezmlm-web
(https://systemausfall.org/toolforge/ezmlm-web/), which is written in perl.
AFAICT there are no problems.

For the above example I used one monolithic script, but this is just a matter
of taste/design and should/does not depend on the template engine.
