Perhaps use XML Catalogs in the using example?

The command line example in the Using DB2LaTeX web page, indicates a hardcoded file system path for the style sheet. Hardcoded paths makes it difficult to use the same makefiles on different systems. I think it would be better if the example used a canonical HTTP URL for the DB2LaTeX docbook.xsl file, and that it used XML Catalogs to find the file in the local file system. Bob Stayton's chapter on using XML Catalogs with the DocBook XSL style sheets, has examples for usage with both Xalan and Saxon: http://www.sagehill.net/xml/docbookxsl/Catalogs.html The Sun XML Catalog resolver used in the above examples, can be downloaded from the Apache XML project: http://xml.apache.org/dist/commons/resolver-1.0.jar Norm Walsh's thoughts on the reasoning behind XML Catalogs, are well worth a read: http://www.arbortext.com/Think_Tank/XML_Resources/Issue_Three/body_issue_three.html Thanx! - Steinar ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open!
