I just started working on the XSLT implementation of db2x_manxml.
It's in CVS, under docbook2X/xslt/backend/db2x_manxml.xsl.
Right now, it's missing tables support and character mapping.

To Michael Smith:
A while ago you mentioned that you would have a XSLT stylesheet for
character mapping?  I would like to have that to incorporate that
in the stylesheet above.
