Thanks for the report. But what version of docbook2X are you using?
Because the errortext template has been added quite a while ago
(since revision 1.10 of xslt/man/inline.xsl; see
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/docbook2x/docbook2X/xslt/man/inline.xsl?rev=1.15&view=log)
I also cannot reproduce your error with the latest version[*] I have here.
(Could you also post a complete XML man page, if possible? It makes
it easier to test.)
My results are below, which seems to be fine.
[*] Yes, I know I should seriously make a new release.
