The DocBook Technical Committee will meet on Wednesday,
19 October 2016 at 2:00pm ET for 90 minutes.

Attendance at teleconferences is restricted to members
(and prospective members) of the committee.

The DocBook TC uses the #docbook IRC channel on
irc.freenode.org.  The IRC channel is used for exchanging
URIs, providing out-of-band comments, and other aspects
of the teleconference, so please join us there if at
all possible.

Agenda

1. Roll call
2. Accepting the minutes [1] of the previous meeting (21 September 2016).
3. Next meeting: 16 November 2016
4. Review of the agenda.
5. Review of open action items

 a. Jirka to review the non-normative XML Schema version of 5.1 to make sure it has all the latest changes.

 b. Jirma to create a branch on 5.1 in Github for the publisher's schema.

 c. Jirka to sort out access issures for transitioning the DocBook schema files to Github.

 d. Bob to talk with Norm about the future of the Definitive Guide

 e. Bob will send a note to the DocBook list asking for the impact if we remove support for XSD in DocBook 6.0.

6. DocBook 5.1: Review in progress, ending on November 3. No comments so far.

7.  Review of Requests for Enhancement

     We have some open items in these two places that have not appeared in the
     agenda in the last few months. Some look like duplicates between the two
     lists. Others may need to be closed.
