DocBook XSD will be discontinued

At our last meeting the DocBook Technical Committee voted to discontinue 
support for the XSD version of the DocBook 5 schema, starting with the 
future 5.2 release.  The reasons are that it is very difficult to 
maintain, and that there was little interest from the DocBook community 
for using it.
